My Story
This is me, James Macintyre.
Graphic Designer, Photographer, Tutor, and all-around tech enthusiast. I’m an Adobe Certified Designer with expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as a qualified educator with a PGCE and Associate Fellowship from the Higher Education Academy. I’ve worked with a range of design agencies, collaborated with diverse freelance clients, and taught creative applications and digital design across more than 20 courses at the University for the Creative Arts over 10 years.
Whether it’s crafting a memorable brand, mentoring students to unlock their creative potential, or fine-tuning workflows for maximum impact, I’m driven by a passion for producing work that makes a real difference. I thrive on building connections and enjoy guiding others toward success.
I love staying on top of the latest tech trends, discovering how things work, and constantly refining techniques to keep my ideas fresh and innovative. My work blends creativity, technical skill, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
I freelance in both design and teaching, so feel free to get in touch about either. This site is my personal hub, featuring a brief selection of my personal projects and client work.
Let me know if you’d like to see my full portfolio and CV, I’d be delighted to share!
